The Lorraine and Loralea are the same body, but Loralea is strung F-F. Lorraine is G-G. They are easy on my hands; medium light string tension. Loralea is SLIGHTLY lighter tension than Lorraine.
Everyone is blown away with the sound. It’s lush, and so easy to sound FABULOUS on these harps. The doubling effect gives the illusion of greatness. You can hear this harp on my YouTube tutorials.
Detachable base is quick to remove. And it comes in 6” or 8” heights.
Not tippy at all, very solid-footed. Safe around my grand daughter and dog.
Light to carry to my car, easy fit because base detaches.
Gothic shape. I love this shape and you don't see it often.
(It also makes the bass strings long, which causes a stunning sound.)
Easy on my body. It’s a floor harp; tilts back lightly on shoulder.
Comfortable to reach around because it is narrow at the top.
Perfect, perfect range. That low octave is WOW. Going any lower than the low G or F would be overkill for the complex overtones of the double. That’s just my opinion. To me, the Lorraine G-G and Loralea F-F are the perfect double harps; their range achieves everything while keeping the harp from being bulky or heavy.
Camac levers are available on all of these doubles. There are no other doubles on the market that offer this.
Easy to learn. Free tutorials on line. (I wonder who makes those?) Go to YouTube and search “Double Strung Harp Tutorial.”
You can afford these harps:
$2262 to $3600, depending on levers.
Free Perks:
•I give you one free Skype lesson or private lesson at my home.
•Two L-shaped tuning wrenches that are ergonomic. (You get a T-shaped wrench with the harp too; it’s good to have both kinds.)
•Also you can have in-person or Skype lessons at 30% off for a year. (So $30 for you, or $15 for 30 minutes).
•I include my “Lady Godiva” book of tunes to use with the G lever.

AND Loralea 29 Double Strung (F-F)
(58 strings total on a harp).
Things I LOVE about these harps!
Brittany 22 strung G-G
Brea 22 strung F-F
(same body, and 44 strings total on a harp).
Things I LOVE about these incredible cuties!
Eve 22 (G-G)
Ena 22 (F-F)
(44 strings total on each harp).
Things I LOVE about these little GEMs!
The tone is just gorgeous, in a small, light package. Eve is equally as beautiful as Brittany, a little brighter and more glittery. Ena is warmer tone, very grounding. They are both very therapeutic in tone.

They are a good sound quality representation; listen with headphones. The sound sample on the Stoney End website sounds nothing like the harp, so please watch the tutorial instead - preferably with headphones.
Jaw-dropping effects you can’t get in a single strung. As with all double strung harps, the doubling effect gives the illusion of greatness and that glittery sound. These harps even sound great at the top.
Ultimate therapy harp. You can so easily create soothing ripply sounds that move the heart of any person, and improvisation is so easy on a double strung. One pound lighter than Brittany and Brea, light enough to carry room to room in a hospital enjoyably, just 8 pounds.
Tutorials 37-40 have “double” ways to use these for therapeutic purposes. Also Tutorials 91-92-93-95 are to show you the amazing ways that double strung harp can increase your therapeutic capabilities, and be much easier than single harp.
Super fun to take places, SO CUTE. As the Brittany/Brea is too. But Eve and Ena are one pound lighter than the Brittany/Brea. Take your harp with you anywhere for “Random Acts of Harping.”
I love playing them outdoors.
You can afford this harp: $1217 to $2361 depending on levers.
Easier to hold ergonomically than other small harps. Small harps are harder to hold than a floor harp (which is stable on the floor and just tips back lightly on the shoulder). But the Eve is in a class of it’s own in the world of small harps. I can play it comfortably for hours.
Ena and Eve work for your body better than a 26-string therapy harp. Eve’s short profile makes the difference. They are perfectly ergonomic if you place it on a harp bench between your legs (straddle the bench like a horse). A 26-string harp is too tall for this.
Another option where you don’t need a harp bench:
When you buy one of these harps from me, I include a pretty lap harp board to match your harp ($35 retail value). You sit on it and put the harp on it between your legs. (You cannot do this with a 26 string single harp because it makes it too high). The Eve 22 and Ena 22 both are comfortable to play for long periods. There is a lip at the front of the board so the harp cannot slip off.
Now there is an optional detachable base with legs available - makes them feel like a floor harp. Ask me about it - this works for any of the lap harps! $100 plus shipping.
Small but MUCH more “playing power” than normal lap harps – or even 26 string harps. I always thought 22 string lap harps were limiting. But not when you double the strings. You have three octaves, in each hand. The harp has 44 strings, packed into a little lap-harp size. You simply bring your left hand up an octave to play the four lower notes you would play on a 26 string harp. Then you have the rich overlapping sound too.
Overtones! Each string vibrates it’s equal “sister” on the next row, so there is a richness you can’t get on a small single strung harp. It sounds “expensive” and is far more therapeutic.
Gothic shape. I love this shape and you don't see it often.
Eve has a wonderful light string tension. Ena has firmer tension. So you have a choice. Also narrower string spacing than Brittany/Brea, good for those with small hands.
Perfect, perfect range. The lowest note on Eve is a G. I love the Eve range. That G is a note you use often in the key of C because it’s the dominant of the C scale. Or on the Ena, the F is lowest. On Ena you can play in the key of F too.
Walnut or Cherry. Walnut is a warm sound, glittery, long sustain. Cherry is also warm, but a thicker, “round,” creamy sound. The differences are tiny, so it’s almost best to just pick your favorite color.
A walnut Eve is used on the “Eve Double Strung Harp Demo” YouTube video. Use headphones.
I can send audio samples via email. I torture myself trying to decide which I like best; you can’t go wrong with either of them. Either are beautiful for a therapeutic use.
Carolyn’s special “Lady Godiva” option. I asked Gary Stone to make this for my customers as an option. Suddenly you can play beautiful Olde English music, Medieval, and some Shakespearean and even Jewish. This configuration has one extra lever: the G above middle C on the right hand. Add $25 for a Truitt. I include a gift of a free book of tunes I arranged and composed for this.
All of Suzanne Guldimann’s great lap harp books have some tunes using the right hand G#. For a fully levered harp you already have this lever, of course.
See Prices page for various lever options.
Easy to learn. Free tutorials on line! (I wonder who makes those?) You can do all the tricks on the tutorials, some tunes exactly as is, and some with your left hand up an octave.
Having a double strung lap harp has changed my life. I feel I have FINALLY found THE small harp for me. In a small package, more strings and capabilities than my 34 string singles had. It is a perfect compliment to my full-size floor harp Lorraine double 29.
Free Perks:
•I give you one free Skype lesson or private lesson at my home.
•Two L-shaped tuning wrenches that are ergonomic. (You get a T-shaped wrench with the harp too; it’s good to have both kinds.)
•Also you can have in-person lessons at 30% off for a year. ($30 for you).
•Free Lap Harp Board ($35 retail value).
•My “Lady Godiva” book of tunes to use with the G lever.
